It's that youreel already has your account: a daily history since you connected, the metrics you can't cleanly screenshot, your own purpose tags, and a memory of what it told you last month. Honest note: a technical creator can wire a paid connector to pipe live metrics into ChatGPT, so we don't claim it flatly can't. What plain AI structurally can't do is keep a standing daily record, compute the numbers without occasional hallucinated math, or remember your strategy between chats. youreel is the record; AI is the read layer on top of it.

Common questions

Why not just paste my Instagram stats into ChatGPT?
You can, for a one-off read. But ChatGPT forgets your account every session, only sees what you paste, and can miscount across many rows. youreel keeps a daily history from the day you connect, pulls metrics you can't screenshot, computes the numbers deterministically, and remembers what it recommended last month.
Does youreel use AI?
Yes, in two narrow places. When a new post of yours arrives, AI suggests its purpose tag from the caption and cover (marked as auto-detected, one tap to change). And AI may narrate verified facts. Your numbers are always computed deterministically: it never invents a number, and it says so when there isn't enough data yet.
Can ChatGPT see my Instagram metrics directly?
Only if you wire up a paid data connector; by default it can't. youreel authorizes directly with Instagram, so it reads your real first-party insights automatically every day.
